DEAN ANDREWS BIOGRAPHY

At the age of 8, Dean Andrews Jr. began his musical journey by studying a wide variety of drumming styles. Rock, Pop, Latin, Jazz, Electronica, Rudimental and Metal are just a few examples of Dean’s extensive and vast knowledge of the drumming world.

Not long after relocating from New Mexico, Dean, now 13, was touring and recording with numerous highly-recognized Orlando rock bands such as Jennyanderson, Some Other Life, Von Ray, Canvas, and currently Am Conspiracy simply highlight his widespread experience.

A.M. Conspiracy is fronted by Jason Jones, formerly of the band Drowning Pool. It was while Jason was on hiatus from that band that he came across Dean playing with a band called “Canvas”. Jones is quoted as saying “That drummer (Dean Andrews) is the reason I left Drowning Pool. I wanted to sing with their band, because the drummer is one of the best I have ever seen”. “When you see Dean’s stage shows, he lights up the stage with his relentless desire to have every crowd entertained. He has an explosive energy and power, Dean continues to electrify audiences and leave even the most seasoned musicians amazed.

In January 2007, Am Conspiracy was signed to the independent label Corporate Punishment Records. Their debut album “While You Sleeping” is scheduled to be released with major distribution through Koch, on August 7^th, 2007. Am Conspiracy’s first single “Far” will be released on June 4^th, 2007. This single has already caught the attention of XM Radio’s hard rock station SQUIZZ, where due to the overwhelming response of the listeners, it currently resides on regular rotation, weeks before its release.

Through creativity and perseverance, Dean feels his performance on the record is one of his finest. He captured the attention a Trick Percussion and was quickly endorsed as one of their featured artists. Vice President James Taylor (J.T) is quoted as saying “From the first moment I spoke with Dean, I knew there was something about him that was special. You know what I mean don't you? You meet someone and instantly you say to yourself "This guy is going somewhere" Everyone around me kept telling me how great of a drummer he is, except him. Then I met him it just happened, I was swept up in his gravitational pull. Anyone that has spoken with Dean knows what a humble and wonderful human being that he is. Then I saw him play drums, wow! He has precision speed and control and yes but he also has something more. He has the ability to instantly make the band better just by having him. Dean is exactly what today's music needs, someone that can make any situation more musical, all the while doing it with a welcome and warm smile on his face. Take notice, Dean Andrews has arrived.

Compared to the likes of Danny Carey and Josh Freese, Dean is sure to make his own mark in the music industry. Co Producer of Am Conspiracy’s debut album, Rae DiLeo, known for his work with Filter and Army Of Anyone is quoted as saying “Working with Dean in the studio made my job easy as an engineer. His ability to get to that level of a great drum take over and over was incredible. He is definitely an undiscovered talent ready to explode”.

Am Conspiracy has had the opportunity to open for many national acts such as SevenDust, Soil, Skindred, Revolutionary Theory and Alliele. Plans for a summer tour to support their debut CD are currently in the works.
